. Gawd... I still lust for those gear driven cams - sounds like a Roots supercharger whine - with that bassa nova bass beat from the TBR carbon fibre full exhaust system - a bit like a NASCAR Chevy V-8.
Anyone who complains about changing out the headers on an I-4 should spend an afternoon - the whole afternoon - with a varied set of flex wrenches/extensions scraping the flesh off your digits just to get to the two rear cyl. Loads of fun!

Talk about a boat anchor. The stock exhaust on a Viffer could stop an aircraft carrier.
These rabid V-4 fans are to be watched and feared: because they can wax on incessantly about their beloved and maligned bikes.
Amongst my other infidelities were such tarts as two (yes 2, one I raced, one was for street) '93 Double RR's; a '98 RR. Really stuck my privates in my zipper with a '00 R1, and yet another R1 the last being a '02. Now I'm on a '05 RR.
I LOVE my '05 RR. If Honda would pull their collective head out of their @$$

and build a full litre V-4 (or 1200-1400) I'd buy it in a New York Minute! A replacement for the BlackBird. Leave that stupid V-Tech off it. Go back to the gear driven cams; double nozzle FI like the RR. Give it a bit of attitude instead of some sanitized ST. Beat Ducati at the "soul" game: build a bike that has Honda history, and Honda reliability.
Cheers
