Why are people riding these things on the road? I thought they were for inside malls and government buildings only.

It is obvious that his family should sue since the stop sign was not mounted at a level where the rider could have seen easily.

Legal in Kansas ?? not legal here saw a guy riding once at nearby elementary school the police came and took the thing away and arrested the guy apparently he was being a menace to the people at the playground.Those bikers nothing but a bunch of hooligans

You can make them street legal in California, and register and insure them like anything else - though why you'd want to?
