| Re: Cleaning I hate washing my bike altogether. Everytime I wash it I get caught in the rain just after. Washed it today and there were just scattered shower and I managed to get caught in 2 of them. The second we were going towards where there was nice blue sky, turned out we went into the rain cloud rather than away. Oh well, if you don't ride in the rain you don't ride.

| Re: Cleaning If you clear your plastic you will have better luck. Out of all the black cars/trucks/bikes I have had, I use a thing called Gloss enhancer. It is made by 3M and seems to make them go away if there are any. Also there are anti swirl mark creams out there...but that is more for buffing.
Don't go silver.
EDIT: by clear - I mean CLEAR COAT!

| Re: Cleaning All Meguiars products kick ass.
Use them on everything I have.
But c'mon, Conq. Wash that puppy every now and then. I've washed every bike I've ever owned.
No problems. |

It's like having a nice 4X4 truck, do you think it looks better clean and shiny or well used and muddy???
Conq, take a downer man, you're gonna spin a bearing!!!
Mo Noyz, back when I had my blow-boat, meguiars ruled for anything for boats, so I should only assume they rock for anything they do. |

But on a serious note for DB plastics:
-mop n glo
-novus plastic polish
-hairdryer for the white spots
-polisport plastics (little bit more durable finish, allegedly)

Oh yeah!
I've always used their 3 step Deep Crystal system(deep cleaner/polish/wax) for my car, AND my bike. |

I also dig suzuki bike wash (black spray bottle), works suprisingly well on dirt rides.
