| Ride Report (non-wordy, at least for me!) I have never gotten a tire abraded closer to the edge than on this motorcycle (with the exception of last year at MAM on my FZ1).
I find myself not slowing but accelerating as I approach speed bumps, and whereas I used to seek out the wide open spaces of the countryside when I owned open class sportbikes, I now enjoy city riding better. I don't have to ride a half hour or forty minutes to the heart of the Loess Hills to start the fun. It literally begins when I punch the button to the garage door opener and fire the deliciously ear-splitting open piped single.
Parking lots are safe havens for wheelie practice (what little I do of that sort of thing, but I'm workin' on it, lol) and undulating boulevards with roundabouts in commercial and office developments beg to be railed in repetitive imaginary AMA Supermoto heats. Hell, I even hopped a curb and rode catty-corner through a sage grass field before dumping back out on paved streets. Too much fun!
Shortly after I snapped the last photo of the day yesterday afternoon, I collected a large bird with my left shoulder as I hammered along Omaha Trace Road. Damn, it hurt. Killed the birdie deader than a hammer though, so I shouldn't complain. It could have been a deer - then I'd really be hurting. Back to the concrete jungle shortly after that, my new playground. Hee.
Man alive, I love this motorcycle . . .

Chain did I ever tell you I hate you? (because of that third pic with your foot on the ground. I'd never be able to get a foot flat with my ass still on the seat. being short sucks)

| Re: Ride Report (non-wordy, at least for me!) 'burglar: Thanks, it is! Aych: Only little ones and only very occasionally. Sheep: They race Supermoto on tracks that are both dirt and asphalt. On slicks. Baccy: Thanks mate! asiliat: I've learned not to make predictions on any given Chainbike's life expectancy, but I will say this much...this motorcycle is punchy, loud, and stupid fun to ride. About 40 hp with the pipe and jet kit, only 295 pounds. You feel like you're absolutely hauling ass when you're doing 50. FWIW. soon2b: Dude, I can't tell you how much I love to ride bikes, work on bikes, talk about bikes, polish bikes, look at bikes, etc. We're hugely blessed to have a hobby we're passionate about. I feel sorry for people who don't have a fire in their bellies for something, anything. 929RE: Being tall isn't all it's cracked up to be. My feet hang off the bed unless I'm on a king and buying jeans with a 36" inseam sucks. TGZ:Thanks, bro!

| Re: Ride Report (non-wordy, at least for me!) Sweet pics Chain . I'm glad you're enjoying your new toy. It's amazing how much different it really is compared to a sportbike. It just begs for acts of juvenile idiocy. I too like the 3rd pic, pretty cool way of getting a pic of yourself. |

Sounds like riding is fun again for you. |

| Re: Ride Report (non-wordy, at least for me!) Reap: Thanks man. Shiny building caught my eye like a gorilla spying himself in a mirror. BDA: I resisted, but in the end you were right that I should sell the busa. I had forgotten the fun of riding for the sake of riding. Hugely powerful sportbikes on the street have lost some of their appeal for me and I'm having a good time on two wheels again!

You didn't have to confirm that the supermotos would be such a blast. |

| well just curl up into a ball like me and your feet won't hang off. I only have a 30" inseam if that so pretty much every sportbike bigger than a ninja 250/500 is high. I did lift my bike back up last week because I've gotten good enough where I need the ground clearance for the pegs.
