| Tire Mileage I've only gotten about 100 miles out of my last two rear tires. I do rolling burnouts all the time.
How long should a rear tire last? |

| Re: Tire Mileage Much less for rollers, something's very weird there...are you just feathering in first then floating it or are you stabbing up to 3rd or so WFO? I'd think you'd need the higher revs for gyro. I think the best thing to do in this case would be to call your dealers service department and speak with the guy that assembled your bike

| Re: Tire Mileage Ha, you guys suck, I can get 200-300 miles outta mine. The trick is you gotta sit way up, like on the tank, with your feet over the windscreen . Figured you'd have known that. The less weight on the ass end, the longer it lasts...DUH! |

| Re: Tire Mileage I get plenty of mileage out of mine, but then I'm currently running about 7 or 8 patches in the rear tire.

| Re: Tire Mileage just grab some of the tread from exploded truck tires off the highway and glue it on. now you got yourself a nice little homemade retread to burn up.

No to mention you'll be helping out the environment at the same time. |

| Re: Tire Mileage I've found by never applying the throttle beyond say that much and keeping the speed below 25mph, while leaning the bike at differing angles on each journey, you can get over 100,000 miles out of a set of Chinese Bo Dung plastic 100's.
