'06 Speculation

I was down at HRC yesterday and just chatting. I noticed that there was the "2006 Motorcylce Preview" folder hidden (not too well) on the sales desk. I asked to see it thinking that "Oh yeah, I'm gonna see what Honda has in stock for Suzuki!"

I open it like a child expecting a red bicycle on chirstmas morning. With almost feverish anticipation I begin thumbing through the pages. Heart racing with every turn, until...... I reached the end!

No information on the CBR's, or any sportbike for that matter. I can tell you that the Rune will still like the USS Ronald Reagan but nothing on the VFR, CBR, XX, or RC. Those bastards

Anyone have any information from their sister's boyfriend's father who works with a guy who knows a gal that lives next to the dude who cleans up the trash at the gas station where the HRC folks go?

Re: '06 Speculation

The gossip has it weighing about 10lbs less and making 7-8 more HP. Most of the weight loss is from a new exhaust system. It will also have some slight chassis tweaks but nothing major.

My neice's aunt's sister knows someone who spoke with the wife of the guy who makes the sausage egg croissants at the Burger King where one of the lead Honda designers has breakfast, and so I have it on good authority that the 2006 CBRRR is going to be a 375lb 999cc V5 with 200hp at the rear wheel............sticker will be around $11,500. (Cross my heart and hope to die!)

Eh? But this can't be true - all CBR's are I4's.

I do believe that Honda will bring a V5 to the street. I just don't think the first one is going to be a superbike (although it may be a Blackbird or VFR replacement).

And it won't be 2006...or 2007.

Keyless entry?

Guess it's not that funny. The Goldwings actually have it.

Keyless entry? How do you "enter" a motorcycle?

Re: '06 Speculation

Maybe he means a key fob for the auto locks on the bags and stuff? I saw one that was all done up this weekend with keyless bags and everything else you could ever want(or not ) on a big bike
