Whatta rip It just cost me $50 to renew the plate on my bike. My car only cost $4 more. How is that fair pricing? If they'd at least attempt to fix the flippin' potholes.

Re: Whatta rip Talk about a bunch of whiners! Try Arizona!! My bike is a 2002, with registration due this past June 30th, and it's still $128. We have this this thing here called a "lieu tax". You buy a new car and can expect to pay something like $500 the first year, then it drops off a "little" each year. I think these $$ are supposed to go for road improvements - don't ask what our highways look like.

Re: Whatta rip We have to pay yearly property tax too, on top of the plate registration. It's a percentage of the vehicle's value. Close to $200 for the bike last time I think. Plus yearly vehicle inspections that are ~$20.

Re: Whatta rip Wow only $35 for the bike and $70 for the car here. Of course every road is straight and flat, so you pay one way or another I guess.

Re: Whatta rip Total for my bike, truck, trailer and Sea Doo was just over $100.00. That included a $25.00 premium for my "special" tag on the truck. No inspections in this state either. Did I mention we have no state income tax either?

She lives in Florida, and is exactly like all the retirees from the north that don't know how to drive. I love my mother dearly, but if I was in control of the local DMV, I would not renew her driver license. Since I am not in charge, you have to be on the lookout for my mother at all times while driving, or riding your bike. I won't mention exactly which city she lives in, or drives in Florida, just to keep you all on your toes, but she is very close to you...
Not only do you have the 4:30PM showers, now you have to worry about my mother. However, you don't have to worry about state income taxes!
