I see that the new YZF-R6 isn't on the page yet. Probably have an assload of '05s to get rid of before showing the '06 on their website. | What the heck did Yamaha do? The new R6 was on there for the past week or so, and now it's gone. |

Yes, most of the sport bike community knows about it and will wait, but what of all the newbs that hear "teh R6 is teh bomb, yo" from their squidly friend and go to check it out. If that new one is there for them to see they won't ask dad to go to the dealership just yet.
Know what I mean? |

| Re: 2006 Honda Models From HondaNews.com! Wonder what my wife is going to say when I tell her I am thinking of trading in my 05 1krr for an 06? I took one look at that red/blank paint and I love it!!!!
Maybe I could just get my 05 painted up like that. It looks bad ass. Only thing I was hoping for was a damn slipper clutch and gear indicator. Is that too much to ask for?
Either way, I like the looks of the new 1krr and for the changes I think they could have made a couple more but I would still buy one.

With that new model on the web for everyone to see that will be much more difficult, as the new R6 definitely looks to be THE race bike for next year. Probably why they are keeping the current model with a new name as well. |

| Re: 2006 Honda Models From HondaNews.com! Well, I let the images sink in a bit and I like the general look of the new 1000RR but some of the color schemes just gotta go. But I am sure by this time next year you will probably be able to get one of those ugly color schemes for a song. Unless those new 1000RR's can whoop the new R1's or 05 Gixxers sales on the new 1000RR's will not be brisk. |

| Re: 2006 Honda Models From HondaNews.com! Yeah, that one differs from the North American red/black scheme so much you can't even tell the difference.
Well, the swingarm is black on that one, so I guess that does make it different. |
