The bike belongs to a buddy of mine that has been living without a motorcycle for some time due to the financial pressures of kids in school etc. He promised himself that he would be riding again by 50, so this was his birthday present...

He is so stoked...it's damned infectious... I wanted to ride it so bad when he stopped by...but my damned cast wouldn't fit under the shift lever...

Yeah, it's been a few years for me too.

The more I look at that little scoot, the more I think it's interesting (though at first I casually dismissed it)

just stick a tongue depressor in the open toe of your cast and go to it does not matter if it is a rebel 250 of a brand new 1000 they still make you smile when you first get them

I dont know about commuter on the Freeway here in Cali!

...I rode one of those in my MSF class...those are fun to punch-out on while the instructor is yelling at you to slow down, but I have to say that one looks like it's in much better shape...
