Stock suspension setting up?

I want to get my 02 f4i tuned in, and i just want to know where some god starting points are suspension wise. Im about 6' 1" and 170 lbs. and i just mainly street ride, wheelies, DD, and some twisty roads here and there. Also do you need anything special when adjusting everything?

Re: Stock suspension setting up?

A good starting point is the stock settings (as at 6' 1" and 170 lbs, you're pretty much a "normal" sized person). You can find the settings and instructions on how to adjust your suspension in your owners manual. All the tools you should need should be in your bike's toolkit.

Re: Stock suspension setting up?

hit Motorcyclist online and check out there suspension setup tips for sag, etc.

There's little else more important than a proper setup for your bike. If at first you're intimidated, find a good shop near you and ask them to assist you in setting up your stock suspension.

Good luck.
