| New fad, Cagers vs. Sportbikes? In a 20 mile span near Akron, OH, I had two assholes lay on their windshield wiper fluid and douse me and the bike. The first guy, I was just cruising behind and figured it's night out and lots of bugs so no big deal. The next guy layed on it so I peeled beside him and showed him he's #1 and took off.
That kind of crap is uncalled for especially when you're riding respectfully. Next time I'm getting plate numbers and calling the troopers. |

| Re: New fad, Cagers vs. Sportbikes? It's a losing battle man...best to keep your cool. Drop back and ignore the fool. I've had it happen to me on a couple occasions. In the end it's just a little washer fluid and it will dry. |

| Re: New fad, Cagers vs. Sportbikes? if you really hate that then never ride behind a Ford, they shoot more fluid clear over the entire car than on the windshield.

| Re: New fad, Cagers vs. Sportbikes? I will admit to removing a side view mirror of a Mitsubishi Eclipse on I40 between raleigh and durham, NC.
Dude flicked a cig out at me at about 72mph, hit me in the chest and it, of course, exploded upon impact directly up into my helmet. As soon as traffic allowed, I accelerated past the driver side as closely as possible and removed his mirror with my Alpinestar SMX plus equipped foot.
He thought it was funny until he realized I could indeed retaliate in some form... |

The side mirror removal sounds better but out here in Cali assholes try to sideswipe you just staring at the bike too hard...but if traffic was stopped....
And yes ford washer aiming sucks ass. I used to have a ford and the back window would always get more fluid on it than the front if the car was not moving...POS |

| Re: New fad, Cagers vs. Sportbikes? All the projectiles are outstanding ideas. I'll be sure to carry some form of small metal objects in my riding jacket pockets at all times.
At high speeds though just about anything substantial could shatter a windshield so as long as it's within reason.
Unfortunately moved away from BG but probably will be moving back soon. |

Only thing is, if I'm travelling beside a car doing the same speed he is, how is throwing bb's going to damage his car? |

| Re: New fad, Cagers vs. Sportbikes? but the projectile thing can affect other cars behind you while the mirror kicking only affects the bad party.
the other day a guy cut my friend off. so my friend gets up next to him on the passenger side and stares at him while I got up behind him but just off to his left to get in his mirror (this was at night) and the guy didn't even know I was there for about 5 minutes. When he finally realized it he straightened up and put both hands on the wheel and stared paying attention. then another friend went by him on the left. The guy must have crapped his pants.
