Re: Tourist Trophy! [PS2]

I hate you all...but 172$ later, I have a new slim PS2 (holy F tiny!) and a new copy of TT.

The game was $36.53 and they had about 20 copies in stock as well.

Kicks ass, too bad I should be sleeping

I did the exact same thing when GT4 came out. Slimline + game. Now I own a total of 2 games.

I was up until 12:30 last night working on my license tests.... got my first 5 golds in Expert.

You do have to brake a lot earlier than I would have expected. It probably just feels a little slower because it's scaled down to your TV set.

From a standing start in some of the license tests it really bogs, like you're launching from idle. That is annoying. It would have been cool if they'd included a drag strip like in GT4, but this game is WAY down in content compared to GT. Doesn't mean I don't love playing it though.... maybe the next generation will have more depth.

I just wanna go home and get that NR.

perhaps they tone down the power a little for the vast majority of players who don't ride in real life thus aren't used to ludacris speed as i, uhh err, i mean some bikers are.......

I hope this is TT light, and that the PS3 will have a nuts version...I know the MotoGP thats sposed to be out (June) for the 360 looks pretty awesome.

So..what do I need to get the ps2 to do 1080i? I see it as an option

Thanks - I should have been more specific with a 'does anyone still stock these! cause I havent seen them at bestbuy or CC...well ok they did have the 100$ monster ones (f-that) but the 20$ OEM ones are fine for me. I just cant find them in-stock online anywhere or in stores, I think tourist trophy just brought the finish-stock of these cables out of the warehouse

I'm not using pro mode and the gsxr750 comes right up in the first 3 gears... just power wheelie like in real life. Close the throttle and open it up again while leaning back. I was mono'ing that bitch all the way down the main straight on Grand Valley.
