I'm going to start racing soon. Haven't really had a chance yet. Everytime I start playing, my son wants to playwith me. He rides a nice wheelie though.

Well, I live walking distance from Circuit City...and it kept calling me until I went back and got it.

Cool game though, now I need to find a high def cable, maybe I'll walk over and see if they have one.

So far, I can ride Laguna faster in real life than on the game.

Just go to toysrus.com (on amazon) and save yourself the hassle. The sony model (25$ shipped) I hear is just as good as the 100$ monster (or 44$ depending where you look). mine will be here Monday, and yes I cannot stand playing on a big HD screen with sd res either.

The monster cable was $39.99 at Circuit City.

Took the dog for a walk and picked up the Sony cable for 21.24. They'll price match their online price.

Challenge for the RG500 Gamma. You can win just about half the game with it. Plus it's awesome.

Duh. I'd not thought about getting the S-cable for my PS2 but that would probably help the text on a few games. On one basketball game, I can't tell the difference between 5's and 6's.

I hadn't thought about it until this thread. Of course, I haven't played my PS2 in about 8 months...since I finished Wings Over Normandy.

You know, I think the physics are pretty good around this, it seemed pretty "on" to me. I used the same brake markers in the game as I do on track at say turn 3 at Laguna with good results...

I'll agree, my results are the same as they are in real life. Me on my ass and figuring out how long the truck will take to get me back to the pits.

It does seem like every bike must have a slipper clutch though. I've found a good way to slow down while going into fast sweeper is to downshift instead of braking. Doesn't unsettle the bike.

That method is also very useful on the tracks with elevation changes after a long straight. By downshifting instead of braking, you won't throw the rear of the bike out of whack and have to work so hard to get straight again going into the turn. Otherwise you can try to save the inevitable highside..

I love the game, the gameplay is not simulation at all. The turning, the accel, the decel, high and low sides. I am glad that someone finally came with a decent bike game that has more to do with just pure race bikes, but i think with the experience from making the GT series, that they coul have done 100% better. They need to do some type of collabo with microsoft. Check out Forza for the XBOX and you will see what i mean. Just my

. But the way, has anyone got an RC51 on the game?
