05 600 to 05 1000rr.

i am going to be picking up my 05 1000rr in the next few days.i was wondering in your opinion the differences i should be expecting.as in handling,Power and such.is it a good investment.

Welcome to another Canuck...

Handling is actually very similar to the 600rr. Watch that throttle hand in the first 3 gears though... it comes on a lot sooner and a lot harder.

I got my 05 1000RR

I got mine a couple of weeks ago. It is sweet. You will love the ride. When you twist hold on and hope you have good arm sockets. Have fun man!

You will now know when people say you don't need or use the power of a 1000 they don't know what they are talking about. You will realize this when the needle passes 8,000 RPM (Power peak of a 600) and you are holding on tight.
