| 1000 to 600 I am curious how does one feel after spending a long time on a 1000cc and then riding a 600cc. Is there such a big difference?
I have read plenty of oppinions on going from 600 to 1000 but none the other way around

Re: 1000 to 600 My 1000rr makes my 600f4 feel like a scooter. Its a lot of fun revving that 600 through traffic just to pass a car, where the torque from the 1000 was brutal. After a few weeks of 600 therapy, my 1000 feels like a whole new bike.

Re: 1000 to 600 I have a 954 for the street and I bought a 600RR for the track and coudn't be happier. In fact you can out drive a lot of liter bikes on all but the longest straights. The only problem is if you have an equally skilled rider on a liter, than you have a hard time getting past.

Re: 1000 to 600 wolley, what about normal street driving - isn't a 1000 more comfortable with the higher torque?

Re: 1000 to 600 You just have to work a bit harder with a 600. Compared to the 1000 there is nothing at low revs then it all comes in at once at the top

Re: 1000 to 600 Be prepared for 6th gear to 3rd gear downshifts for passing. The 600 will take a lot more shifting to ride the same.

Re: 1000 to 600 The 600 is easier to turn in (less muscle). On the street keeping the RPMs high to have power is a pain. I can't see myself having a 600 as a street bike after the 1000. On the track keeping the RPMs high the 600 is good everywhere except the long straights. A 1000 will catch you at the end and possibly block your line.
