| Stuff piling up in the garage for track season. All SV-related, all ebayed or off the SVrider site:
Ohlins shock. Front end from a GSXR750 - USD Showa forks, triples,Tokico 6-pot brakes, wheel, rotors, axle, clip-ons, master cylinder, clutch perch and cable, throttle tube, fender. All straight and in good shape.
Might get a subframe and race tail, and run an upper fairing, and I still like the idea of a 1/5 turn throttle.
Gonna strip off the fan and extraneous wiring, New Pirelli Super Corsa Pro's are coming from Bikeoholic.
My hands are healed enough to start wrenching as soon as it warms up a bit.
This should be even more fun than last year. |

| Re: Stuff piling up in the garage for track season. What kind of dummy spends that much money replacing that many things on a perfectly good motorcycle, all to make it go better around a racetrack 10-12 times a year?
Congrats man, good times ahead. |

| Re: Stuff piling up in the garage for track season. I ordered a few things for the bike also;
Dynojet PCIII USB
Dynojet Quickshifter
Dynojet Ignition Module
Hoping to gain about 5/10th to 8/10th of a second, a lap from the quick shifter and a little over rev from the ignition module. Pretty sad isn't it when you spend near a grand for 5/10th of a second and about 500rpms. |

Woodcraft rearsets
PCIII
New lid
Modified leathers
block off plates
Perilli Super Corsa's (once the bike show show's up, going new this time no more srubs)
Was also after rear shock but purchase of a house has seriously put a ding in motorcycle budget. Thank god I got all this stuff or budgeted before hand. |

Actually my minor get off last year pulled some stitching out of the elbow and shoulder and the waist zipper pulled apart. I am getting the seams fixed up and having a beefier zipper put in that goes around completely and is fixed to leather not a nylon wind skirt. When I bought my alpinestar jacket I looked at the same style as a 2 piece and like the way it was set up (could not afford it at the time). I bought the jacket and then bought the track pants later. Unfortunately the zipper is not the same as their 2 piece suits. |
