| 900RR Engine Swap I was wondering if anyone here knows which engines and with what amount of modifications can be made to fit into a '98 CBR900RR? I tried searching around a bit, but not too much came up, I'm wondering if anyone knows. | |

 | Re: 900RR Engine Swap Anything from 1993 to 1999 can be bolted directly. I think the 929 as well as the 954 can be as well. No matter the direction you go be sure to get the complete wiring harness and guage cluster. You will need it. An 1100XX motor will fit as well, but you have to split the frame and widen it. |

| Re: 900RR Engine Swap From what I've read 929/954 engines require welding of new mounting points and/or brackets? I thought the 1100xx engine was amongst the easiest to bolt on? |
