The show sucked.

I'm sending my opinion, although they'll probably be thrilled with the good or bad publicity. If this is a Red-Rider, send yours again.

Re: SuperBikes! -- not the show I'd like to see

It was by far the worst motorcycle show I have ever watched. Thanks, SPEED Ch., for perpetuating the asswipe image of bike riders to the Nth degree. I'd rather sit around and watch American Thunder while wearing a mink thong straddling an Ultra Glide. Since it appears the show will be travelling to different cities, I suggest we contact our respective local chambers of commerce and have them contact SPEED and tell them to stay the hell away. But since they're into the whole "underground" scene, I guess it wouldn't make much difference. The mere fact that they are glamorizing the underground of anything should make any self-respecting motorcyclist send SPEED a Shizagram (check out ShizaGram.com! Send a TURD today!). Of course any "real" underground punk wouldn't want any mainstream media types hanging around anyway. Isn't that what the guy who writes the indie bike newspaper was bitching about in the first segment? So, basically, it was a show about a bunch of posers. Way to go, SPEED! So we can either watch that or endless NASCAR (a.k.a. Redneck Go-carts) shows. I got it! How about some televised dyno runs, shown from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., with Ronco infomertials filling the gaps. Can't be anymore painful to watch.

Re: SuperBikes! -- not the show I'd like to see

I missed it lastnight. I did want to just see what it was about, sounds like I didn't miss much.

I never really understood all the hatred towards Greg White.

I haven't read anything that would qualify him as an asshole.

I haven't seen anything on his Greg's Garage show that paints him as an asshole.

I haven't heard anything during his AMA reporting that comes off as a jerk, etc.

Did this guy molest some kid or something?

I just don't understand where all of you are so hateful. He's just a guy covering races and (used to ) host a motorcycle show.

I liked his interviews with Nicky and Spies and the Boz brothers. He spoke up about the whole "motorcycle clocked over 200 miles per hour" bull ****.

He consistantly preached "take it to the track" and "wear your gear", etc.

So, give some links of info to where this guy is such an asshole so I can preach how glad I am that he's gone.

This is NOT good. It's going to breed a new group of newbie stunners that will most likely receive serious injuries. You would think SPEEDTV would be a little more responsible than that.

As much as I DON'T want to watch it - I can guarantee you that curiosity will get the best of me and I'll be sitting in frobt of the TV cursing them the entire show. My wife will then roll her eys, tell me that "...you were once just like them because I knew you then..." and walk out.

Honestly - not a good thing. They will be a bunch of rich little shits who destroy their beautiful bikes in the name of NOTHING.

Fu** 'em.........

Did anybody get the word for the Dude for a Day contest? I thought that this was the last week of the contest-- that's why I watched the entire 1/2 hour of "SuperBikes" --but no word. Now I really feel like I wasted that time.

Re: SuperBikes! -- not the show I'd like to see

It's ok if they want to have a super squid TV show, but don't show stunting on public streets, and don't claim to represent "the sport bike culture of today". Every mototrcyclist has a little hooligan in 'em whether you want to admit it or not.
We need a new sport bike oriented show with road race highlights, magazine style tests on bikes and gear, and maybe some riding tips or other stuff that interests sport and sport touring riders. Nothing boring and preachy, but something fun, responsible, and informative. No dirt bikes, choppers, cruisers, or ATVs. All sport bikes all the time.
Would that be so hard?

All I can say is the show was craptacular!! I like the disclaimer in the very begining stating how everything is done in a controlled manner and shouldn't be attempted, since when is stunting on public roads controlled???

Oh my God - Uncle..... FINALLY......you said what I wanted to hear and have been screaming about for a long time! Those idiots are NOT representing ME or YOU or anyone else who is a REAL sport bike enthusiast. Those people who produce these shows are morons...they should ask US and not try to condone squid actions!

Writing speedvision and telling them I want those 23 minutes back.

What a waste. Bad enough people around here focus on the stunnahs now this, a show that promotes the lifestyle. What is next? "Drama of a PIMP?"

No sh**....... what lifestyle? They don't have a damn thing. They have daddy's money, no brains, and an eagerness to die young. And these STUPID bimbos that follow them around like puppy dogs.....I can't say enough about that. What losers....

That channel needs a letter campaign from US!!! We are thousands strong. We are the ones with money, intelligence, and a remote. We should find out who to contact and slam them! Then maybe they'll revamp their show. Or at MINIMUM - have a disclaimer before AND after the show saying that what these stupid kids are doing is WRONG, DANGEROUS, and DOES NOT reflect the riding styles of the VAST MAJORITY of sport bikers.

Great show....if you want your insurance premiums to go up again. Lets take a decent show with Greg White who promoted safety and track riding and replace it with the worst crap that could ever be put on television. Now every idiot with a sportbike or motard is gonna be doing the exact same things seen on the show.
These idiots on speedchannel are killing me. If its not freaking nascar its some other dumbass show. The only reason I turn to the channel is to watch MotoGP or the AMA races.

Re: SuperBikes! -- not the show I'd like to see

It's always a great start to show the deviants in the motorcycle world-violating the law and getting away with it-I always condone hooliganism. They could'nt have picked a better host-I'm sure all the starboyz wanna be's are loving this. Its just gone from bad to worse. I think I'll watch American Thunder from here on out-It has better content. I was driving home the other day and saw some total squids attemting to attack an on ramp-knees out, in shorts not hanging off and wobbling through the turns-they must have just played Tourist Trophy. Its great to give all these young blank impressionable minds the right idea-thanks speedtv. At least my wife will have more job security when she has to anesthetize these morons before major surgery-hey I also just remembered the helmet law in michigan is about done-more brain surgery!! F^&K these guys!!

There's no reason form me to comment on the content of the show. It seems that has been taken care of. My biggest question is; How in the world did these guys get that low-budget crap aired on Speed? I have no idea at the moment who is in charge of the production of that show, but they need to go back to school.

..........and someone needs to help define "Superbike" for those guys.
