| Re: SuperBikes! -- not the show I'd like to see I was checking out some sites on Deals Gap. The host of the show was out there riding. He was wearing jeans and what looked like work boots (the tan kind). Anyway his camera man that was filming him had on full leathers. What an A$$ wipe! Just to look the part of "I sooooooo cool".
I didn't see the show and won't see it. Say what you want about G. W. at least he show a good image. |

| Re: SuperBikes! -- not the show I'd like to see Personally, I didn't HATE Greg White, I just think he lacked charisma, and was a dork.
I saw Superbikes. F-F-F'in---WTF ????
It was laughably bad, and reminded me of those old beach movies with the "mock" motorcyle gang spoofs of the "Wild One".
Yeah, and they blew out a local riding area of someone here. Knew it would happen....coming to a city near you.
Look, I'm a boots and jeans guy, but I'm also old(ish) and stubborn. I preach what I don't practice. So I guess I'm guilty as hell there. But, I'm not syndicated nor do I claim to represent anyone but myself. This show is bad in so many ways, I can't believe it's airing.
All the hate mail in the world doesn't compare to the fan mail of " Urr da shitttzzznnit!" from the youngsters and stunting crowd. I guarantee they're breaking out their crayons as we speak.
My prediction: Some huge liability issue will surface with the show in the first season, and then it will be done.
lets hope...

lets hope... | You or someone you know got your riding area exposed to the world Scout? Now that it IS exposed - where is it?
Also - I too ride in my Doc Martens and jeans. I have the helmet, gloves, and armored riding jacket. For everyday riding - that's enough for me. If I were on the track all the time or running the Ortega Hwy. to Hell's Kitchen down here in SOCAL - I would have full gear on without a question or hesitation! I am a believer in SAFETY FIRST - fun 2nd!!! I learned from my dad and my son learned from me.
You kno what Scout....no matter what they say...I think YOU are the fu**ing shitttzzznnit!!!!!!!!!! Hehehee......... go BAKOBOYZZZZ!!!!

| Re: SuperBikes! -- not the show I'd like to see Now don't get me wrong I don't ride with full leathers all the time, but if I'm riding the Gap or that type of riding I'm geared up. And when I'm on TV hosting a show about sportbike riding I go out of my way to show whats best not just the "I'm cool" factor. |

| Re: SuperBikes! -- not the show I'd like to see The Executive Producer must have been stoned and watching "Torque" when he came up with the the concept for SuperBikes: yeah, biker gangs on sportbikes... that's the ticket! It's about the brotherhood of speed, being outlaws, street survival, and living on the ragged edge. Give me a break. Torque |

| Superbikes - We DID it! Did you see the new show. The community worked, damn it. I am sure that show was not original going to be that way, especially the ending.
Congrats to all that e-mailed or voted. |

| Re: SuperBikes! -- not the show I'd like to see I watched the second installment of "SuperBikes!" tonight, and it appears that they were working hard to cater to those of us who were not happy with the first show. It was definitely an improvement, but I don't know if I trust them not to return to more reprehensible crap in future episodes-- anyone who could produce that first show must be seriously mental. |

So, plan on seeing more BS from the show.... | You got part of it right anyway. It's a good thing that we voice our opinions about this and any show we watch so they have a good idea what us viewers want. The idea as I understand it is to cover "All" kinds of "Superbike" riding, not just stunting & track days. Even though the first one really didn't appeal to most of us track style riders, to me it was better than another chopper show.
I have been in contact with Jason Britton & am trying to work out a special interview with him about the new show...... hopefully we can get it all sorted out soon. | |

| Re: Superbikes - We DID it! I agree with an earlier post on the other Superbikes thread. That show was likely recorded before anyone sent a single complaint. Let's see what future episodes do and then we can see whether or not the viewer made a difference. |

Riding wheelies down a highway at 85mph isn't riding either. It's dangerous and damn foolish. When I see it....I pray for them to get a little scare....slow 'em down.
As far as being better than another chopper show - amen. I'm sick of that sh**.
Thanks for working on our behalf (and yours) to get to the bottom of this!
