An Indianapolis man died Wednesday night of injuries he suffered more than a week ago in a motorcycle crash.

Anthony L. Salvatore, 38, 6800 block of Balmoral Road, died at Methodist Hospital where he had been treated for injuries he suffered on May 28 when he ran his motorcycle off the road about five miles south of Nashville, Ind.
Salvatore died of head injuries, the Marion County coroner's office said. He was not wearing a helmet, according to a Brown County Sheriff's Department report.

The crash occurred about 2:45 p.m. in clear weather conditions on a dry road, police said. The speed limit is 50 mph.

Salvatore, police said, was driving a 2004 Yamaha on Ind. 135 when he ran off the roadway just north of Horseman Camp Road, which is located near the southeastern part of the Brown County State Park.
