I wrapped mine in bubble wrap, put them in separate triangular FedEx boxes, then put those 2 boxes in one larger box with more packing. Worked fine. Sent them UPS Ground...

I shipped mine the same way. I seem to recall they weren't returned in the original packing though...

Haha, actually, that's the way Dan sent them to me! At the time, I had some heavy boxes that window blinds had been shipped to me in.

That's the way Dan sent mine back to me as described above. But Dan actually told me to send them in a hard plastic gun case with a towel between them so they don't bang against each other.

But I couldn't find one at our Wally world so I wrapped like above and all was well.

I shipped mine to dan in a gun case, I think the case was about $10-$15 and the case was still in perfect shape when I got the forks back so I stuck my shotgun in it!
