I'm farking spent...what a day.

Went for a ride in the mtns today (about an hour from my door) with a guy from work on some farking awesome single track! 70 miles of it kicked my arse. The rockiest and most technical stuff I've seen for probably 55 of those 70 miles.. Frigging totally awesome. Kind of scary being on a single track that's a foot wide at points bouncing around from the rocks with a rock wall on one side and a 2-300 foot drop on the other...and they're not farking pebbles. I never thought i'd make it through some of the places we went. I wish I would've taken some pics of the nasty shyte but never stopped in it. I am totally spent, but can't wait to go back up there.

Here's some pics from a mtn meadow and the river up there. Moments after taking the river picks we did a river crossing...talk about cold water from the snow pack.. The guy in the pick is a guy I just met this morning. Works on base here. Man, that Husky is a gorgeous bike.. lol

Yep. Parked in the Troy Meadows overflow. Was awesome but very tiring.

Forgot to mention we kicked up a mother bear and her two cubs. She reared up on her hind legs and stared at us licking her chops...Jeff reved his XR and beeped the horn so she decided it was too noisy and hard to eat and wandered off.

Nice country. Reminds me of the Canadian Rockies, only with much bigger trees.
