| Driver runs stop sign I wreck Well I wrecked last night, just friggin great! The worst part was the driver stopped just to make sure I was moving around then took off.
I need some replacement parts for an 01 929 yellow-black
front-cowl
right upper
right lower
front brake lever
right mirror
blinkers
bar end
new vortex slider, this one's now ground down.
this sucks. |

| Re: Driver runs stop sign I wreck Nope, I was too busy looking over my body to make sure I was ok and I heard a car taking off, I looked and he was pretty much gone. So no plate! Well thankfully it's only plastic damage, she's got some serious character now thats for sure.
Man this sucks, I could see if I did something stupid then I could accept it, but to have someone else cause this and I get to fork over cash for repairs, this just sucks. |

| Re: Driver runs stop sign I wreck Definitely sucks, sorry to hear it. Hope you filed a police report, if not, might be worth it for the insurance ... and to get on record that someone left the scene, I don't think those get reported enough.
My brother lives in Wayne, and has been rear ended (in his pickup) at least twice on Michigan avenue by people talking on their cell phones and not even looking in front of themselves. I don't like riding the bike in that area. |

| Re: Driver runs stop sign I wreck Bikes can be replaced and so can the components, this sucks to say cause we get so attached to them but at least you able to walk away from this incident. Think of it this way. |

| Re: Driver runs stop sign I wreck Sorry to hear man. Good thing is that you are ok... Make sure you report it for insurance reasons. Hopefully what goes around comes around and that person will get what they have coming to them evenually.

| Re: Driver runs stop sign I wreck Good to hear you could "move around" after the hit.
Your PD's in MI probably have a "no pursuit policy". Anyway, what's the chances that will ever happen again? Consider yourself lucky, and look at it like "at least you got your crash out of the way". You know, we're all do at least one... Good luck on the quick fix.
