Well... guess I'm out

Sold the 929 tonight. Been wanting to get a DRZ400SM, and if I found a buyer I was going to do it. Will put money down on an 07 tomorrow. It kills me to see my baby go... I don't know how she'll be treated, and I know everything about that bike. I've spent a lot of time, money, and blood on her. I will miss it, for sure. Hopefully I will find consolation in having a brand new, 0 mile anything for the first time in my life. Wish me luck... and I'll probably still lurk in the background.

WOW... you will like the DRZ. Someone went "zippin" by me on one the other day. Dude just had a big grin on his face.

Congrats, fun-wise those are a kickass machine...make sure you go check out Chains notes from his ownership period...lots of goodness on his ride (as usual).

There can be only one

Congrats on the motard. They look interesting but I think I would grow bored with one.

Re: Well... guess I'm out

Hopefully I don't. I guess its worse than a 'blade as far as a money pit. My 929 had enough power I didn't really need too much more, but the DRZ is pretty wretched in its stock state I hear. Heres hoping... the guy will be by within the hour.

Re: Well... guess I'm out

I've wanted a SM for a long time. I will always have a liter bike in some form so it would be a second bike. There's a huge aftermarket for parts so it should keep your wallet nice and skinny!
