Ok i'm new to this forum and thank th4e people that have said hello so far...Moving along I am having an issue wiring the tail light with the signals in it. I hooked up the blue to blue, Orange to orange and main to main and what happens is the light stays amber and blinkers turn red, Aslo the brake is not reconigized!! Now I disconnected the blue and orange and all that happens is a regular brake light. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG????

| Re: Wiring Intergrated Tail Light thats what mine did i had a lochart philips taillight and hooked up the colors like you did and my blinker indicators stayed on, all it was was 1 wire that needed to be hooked into a comon ground. the green on the factory wiring should be comon ground. |

| Re: Wiring Intergrated Tail Light i have a red black and whie wire that plug into the stock harness for the brake and tail light.
the turns are colored you match the colors.
i think i had to cut the plugs off of my old signals so that i did not mess up the factory harness.
that should leave you with 2 stray wires (1 from each signal) that use to be hooked up to the factory signals.
take the 2 stray wires and hook them to the black wire on the tail light using one onf those squeese connectors where 1 wire passes through and the other sits beside it.
does that make any sense to you?
edit. from what i could see and remember, the aftermarket light only had 1 wire for each blinker that is why i tied into the the black wire |

| Re: Wiring Intergrated Tail Light on my repsol i had a clear alternatives light and it was plug and play. on my 06 i got the lochart philips and the diagram that comes with it sucks. the big plug for the actual taillight sucks to i had to cut the one off my factory light and put it on my new light because the prongs inside the plug stayed loose and did not light up like it was supose to. |
