| Re: bike storage My buddy keeps his dirt bikes in something similar to this. He has electricity wired into his for light and a portable heater. He put his on a concrete slab, it is pretty nice. |

| Re: bike storage i used to keep my dirtbikes and everything in one of those although instead of Jbodies friend mine was not on a concrete slab. We had layed a gravel foundation on the grass (to level everything off) and put in a wood floor. But it was wired with electricity and had a couple lights in it, heater and motion sensor alarm. One thing I did for a little extra security to make it hardier for theives to steal the bike (should they somehow bypass the alarm system) was i had steel anchors in the frame of the shed that stuck out of the wall a little bit and i ran a motorcycle chain through the swingarm. |

| Re: bike storage um no i dont have any pictures of it. kind of a hurried move out of that house when my parents divorced. As for the the alarm check with any home alarm installation company. I got mine through a local guy up here and it was wired to my house alarm. And it was a dual set up so the house alarm could be un armed yet the sheds alarm was still armed and vise versa or they could both be armed or unarmed at the same time. It ran off the keypad in my house. Like i said call your local home alarm company and they should be able to give you a quote. It's not like motion sensors are super rare technology for alarms so it's not insanely expesive. Shop around and you'll find something |

| Re: bike storage check out bigger companies too like ADT...they monitor the house so like if you accidentally set off the alarm they'll call your house ask you for a verbal password. If you get it right then they let it go. But if you dont answer the phone or if somebody else answers and doesnt get the verbal right...they send the cops. and they charge something dirt cheap per month for the monitoring. I think up here with a canadian company like ADT we were paying like 30 bucks a month for the monitoring

| Re: bike storage Our first house did not have a garage just a pad so we built a 10x10 shed at the end of the driveway with a ramp and barn style doors. It rocked. I was hoping to have a rollup door and put a highspeed motor on it so you could drive up to it like the bat cave. To build the roof high enough made the shed way too high though |

| Re: bike storage You might want to check these out too. TUFF SHED Storage Buildings for The Home Depot
The local Home Depot has some and they actually look pretty well made. Much better than some I've seen at these places in the past ... and they can deliver and build it for you. Prices didn't seem too bad, but you have to do site prep. Even come with floors if you like. |
