what kind of brake line should i buy

i purchased my old F3 from a track racer and it had a better brake system than any other bike i ve had. a liitle amout of brake pressure would put the rear tire off the ground. that bike is long gone but i want to try and recreate its brake system on my 02 954rr (which stops great right now stock, i was just planning on stuntin it a little).

what brand of brake lines should i buy, and should i get a new master cylinder?

Very Subtle moderator style.
I have the feeling others wouldn't have been so.

Dude, check out the rules of engagement for this site. Not very big fans of stunas, yellowfin or otherwise.

sorry guys, just looked at the rules. I'm new. I've gone over three years without gettin a ticket, and have probably put more miles on bike than 90% of regular riders. Never gotten into an accident with another vehicle or the ground while on the street. Just had a question about brakes & u guys know your bikes.

The 954 has awesome stock brakes. I think they'd be much improved, however, with stainless steel lines, either Galfer or Goodridge are popular choices. Both will replace the T-junction that the stock lines have, so you'll have 2 separate lines going from the master to each caliper. Also get the banjo bleeder bolt at the master cylinder, as it'll help get that last bit of air out. Use Motul RFB Dot 4 brake fluid. I'd do that and see what you think before spending lots on a master cyliner.

I like Galfer, they fit great and there customers service is first rate. They also have a lifetime warranty which few people know about.
