Neighborhood hooligan supermoto

Alright, so a pal of mine was talking up this new bike he got and told me I just HAD to ride it. So I did just a bit ago, and you know what?

He was absolutely right!!!!!!

Best pit bike/play bike ever.

Check it out here:
Outlaw Powersports Pit Bikes-Minis-Kids Dirt Bikes-Performance Parts
Now, this thing is a Chinese knock-off hybrid of a CRF50 with a big bore/KLX110 frame, but it is actually quite high quality, well built fun machine.
That thing was such a friggin' blast, I told him I'd buy it right there. He said no way.
Seriously. It's like they took the best of the aftermarket available for the little Honda 50 and put it in one place. I've looked at what there is out there for the little 50s so I can build up my son's bike, but now I don't have to worry about it staying rideable for him.
Looks like there is even a step up from it with a nicer frame, but I don't know if they make an SM specific version of it.
That dealership is about an hour north of me, but it turns out that the headquarters for the company that imports those Pitster Pro bikes is just down the road.
I believe I will be making a phone call or two on Monday to inquire about becoming a small dealer for them. See what they require for that. Making a web presence and slapping another DBA on my LLC would take me all of half a day.

Either way, I will have one of these and a set of dirt wheels/tires for play/pit/general neighborhood terrorism. (oops, the FBI is on this thread like flies in New Orleans now)

Is it the Pitster Pro bike? There are a bunch of other brands.
Bum a ride. The thing is a riot.

Re: Neighborhood hooligan supermoto

I dunno what brand.

Disk brakes, bigger frame, all the neat looking parts, obvious 50 engine copy...and a NOISY MUFFLER!

Considering the hours he puts on it...seems durable. Unfortunately.

Next thing you know you are going to be like that squid around here on his big bore thumper. Riding wheelies up and down the street in front of the kids with no helmet or gear on. Damn hooligan! Fine example of a rebel American you are.

The Pitster Pro X2M has all the same great qualities and features as the X2R model, but, is set up for motorad
.

Sure looks like the link you posted is the SM specific version ... even says so in the description

Looks like a cool bike, and for almost $2k, it better be. Be sure to report back how the work out, I'd be interested sometime in the future if it really is high quality, and not just looks like the good stuff.

There is an X3 and even an X4 now, different chassis from the X2R.
