Need help - 1991 CBR1000F size tire-to-tire?

Next weekend, my son and I are driving about and hour and a half to look at a 1991 CBR1000F owned by someone I work with. I have a Ford Ranger with 6 foot bed and am wondering how long the CBR1000F is so I can see if it'll fit in the back of my truck.

I read on one site a late 90's wheelbase was 60.6". Another site says 59.25".

Wheelbase isn't exactly what I need as overlal length would be better, but wheelbase is better 'n nothin'.

Any ideas, perferable on length or, if not, wheelbase?

Thanks,
Greg

Im not sure how long the bike is but ive had a ford ranger and put a bunch of bikes in it if you need to you can move the tire to the side a little and that will help. I hope you have a lot help to get that bike in the truck cause its 560 pounds and thats gonna be **** trying to get that in the truck. good luck.

Thanks for the reply... ah, the joys of fatherhood... my 18yo son has now switched back to wanting a 4x4 truck; he says he'll ride my cruiser when it gets warm out...
