Well, pulled the 'Wing out of the garage, washed her down, geared up the wife, and away we went. Went out across the JRB to Smithfield, then took US258 to Murfreesboro. Skirted across the bottom of NE/NC, up through Suffolk, then headed home. The day was a definate , except for the wind. I will say this, my H-D Electa-Glide would have been ripped from my hands due to the fairing being bolted to the forks. This Goldwing is definately the ****. It makes handling the wind a breeze(no pun intended). I hope many more of you got out today. SRPRING IS FINALLY HERE!!!!

JUST THOUGHT I'D ADD IN: I'm taking the 'Blade out right now for a little "after dark urban assult". Later.........

Hmm, that was Saturday eh? I've been sick for the last couple of weeks, but couldn't resist a ride Saturday since the weather was so nice. I headed up Warwick Blvd in Newport News on my Honda cruiser and down Jefferson. Didn't get as far as the JRB, but I really need to try the loop from JRB->Smithfield->US58->I95N-I64 and home to see how my bike handles for a several hour trip.

we kept the speeds down. we did not take the ladies on sunday. we are talking about making a ride up toward alexandria on the 18th. there are a few guys on another forum getting together up there.

I'm trying to pull a mixed bag of riders(1 Trump, 1 Victory, me Honda, whoeverelse) together for Sat, so it will a civil cruiser type of ride. If I get no-shows... no telling what I'll do.

I'm out now for breakfast with another bud. We're going down thru Pungo and points. I don't know my way around down there, is I'm driving my GPS equipped Wing. My friend I'm riding with has a Victory Hammer, so it will be a cruiser kind of day. I will probably be back in my area round 2 or 3 and trade off for the RR.

I good for recon missions looking for new roads. Plus the wife loves it. My RR is my all-purpose fighter. Recon this morning, fighter mission later today.
