Aftermarket Fiberglass

I recently purchased a set of aftermarket plastic from Ebay from the company Auctmarts. I wanted to take off the Rennsport track fiberglass I had on my 954 and replace it with something that i could mount a headlight on. I won my auction for $525 including shipping for two side fairings, front and tail fairing and two ram air covers. Everything i had read about these guys seemed good. Since I have won the auction, i have had several questions regarding my order. Although these guys are based out of Japan, i have had almost immediate responses to all of my questions. The guy actually called me the other day and mentioned that they were upgrading their quality of product and would be another few days till my order had arrived. I wanted to post this as more of confiidence booster for people that are a bit leary from Japanese sellers on Ebay. Auctmarts is very buyer friendly. I plan to post pictures when i receive my fairings and mount them so stay tuned. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about Auctmarts.

I am always leery about stuff like that until it actually arrives. Hopefully everything will go well. If/when it arrives and if it looks good, you should post in the Vendor Reviews section at this site so everyone will know.
Thanks for the info and welcome to the .org!

Re: Aftermarket Fiberglass

I saw an entire set of 98 900RR plastics ( ABS ) on eBay painted in full race replica style for like $550. That's an excellent deal considering a good paint job can cost upwards of $1000 without buying the plastics. Definately post back and let us know how the transaction went.

Re: Aftermarket Fiberglass

we tried a set of the fiberglass fairings on my buddies f4i, everything worked pretty good, the upper was a little outta wach it seemed, along w/ the tail. Took some playing to get all lined up right. But cant really complain for the price.
