| Paint ideas I'm currently repairing and getting ready to paint my bike again. last time it was matte black with matte silver flames. I'm kinda tired of the flames and it may sound dumb, but sometimes i think people look at me on the bike with flames and instantly jump to a judgement about the rider.
So far I have gloss black as the new main color. I saw the new Suzuki GSXR black and orange paint job... it's freakin' cool Should i use a little orange in this project or no?
Any paint ideas or suggestions?

| Re: Paint ideas tapeworks.com has some interesting ideas as well.
Personally I think the 7 Stars Honda is awesome. Since it uses black as the main color you are already most of the way there. The first time I go custom I'm going with the 7 Stars. But I'll be about 50 before I have time for that.

| Re: Paint ideas I like that website, all out graphics. That did give me a couple ideas... here is one idea... but i would paint the rear cowling silver as well. Maybe some orange large Honda Wings on the sides? |

| Re: Paint ideas I never figured it out before (thought you were calling yourself slow) but I (the family) drove through SLO one summer when I was fifteen. I loved it there and have wanted to ride down in that area ever since.

| Re: Paint ideas Just a long road trip. Boise, ID to Corona, CA, and took the scenic route the entire way. Went to Disneyland.
Did almost the same trip but the less scenic route when I was 18 driving my grandparents motorhome.

| Re: Paint ideas Santacruiz area is nice... darn crowded at the bordwalk though on weekends. Have you ever stoped in at Monterey Bay Aquarium? I like the huge kelp tank... those tuna are fast suckers.
I like the Koji paint more than the Seven Stars but it too is cool. |
