| I just went down too I wasn't paying attention, rode through a went spot at a stop sign. Cracked the throttle a little on a right hand turn, rear wheel came loose then hooked up again and threw me off. The bke high sided. Minor damage: bent clutch lever, scratch stator cover and tail... thank goodness for frame sliders. What should I check over and should I take it into the stealership for a once over... I don't wanna get screwed by them.
I guess this just gives me an excuse to by Pazzo or CRG levers (which do you guys prefer) and an nrc stator cover. |

| Re: I just went down too I would look over your whole frame...look for any scratches...Other than that, i would say that is what the dealership looks at. When i wrecked my last bike the Honda dealership charged 70 or 75 dollars or a crash check. |

| Re: I just went down too Wow, if my dealer charged me for a crash check, I would make it a point to never shop there again. And buy every replacement part online. |

| Re: I just went down too I'd say have Honda do the crash damage check to it. You don't have to have them do the labor or parts. They should be fair and honest for that. |

| Re: I just went down too My old age must have me missing words. I just re-read his original post.. he did ask for advice about levers, sorry.
My two cents is like "confusious"; man who buys $150 levers cries when they hit the ground.
I'm glad to hear your ok after the spill. |

yeah but the rumor is that the shorter levers wont break as easily as the longer stock levers.

but its hard to say.... I also went down and my stock levers didnt snap.
when you look at the shorter levers they appear as if though they wont break off as easily...(the levers dont extend past the bar ends)
