Re: OPP PARTS

I have not bought from them, I know people who have.
No one I know has had a part they ordered delivered in less than 3 months time. Several people have had this complaint. I am not fond of the finished products I have seen, The carbon fiber tail section I saw looked good from a distance but when I saw it up close there were obvious voids in the resin.

Re: OPP PARTS

I've owned SharkSkinz, Hot Bodies, and currently have OPP on my track bike. I bought my OPP set in 2005 and they've stuck with me through a broken wrist, broken collar bone, separated shoulder, cracked ribs, two sets of gloves, one Shoei helmet and a set of leathers. As you might surmise I'm hard on ****, but the OPP fiberglass has withstood the test. The SharkSkinz were good too, but I think the OPP is tougher.....or maybe my glass repair skills have improved with practice. The SharkSkinz are closer to being "prepped for paint" if that's important to you. FWIW I crash tested the Sknz too.

Re: OPP PARTS

Stay tuned to my website. I'm setting up to make carbon fiber, carbon-kevlar and fiberglass body work for late model sportbikes.
All Sport Cycles :: Sportbike Parts & Accessories

My first offerings to the public are solo seat cowl for 900rr. Second will be a 2007 R1 carbon fiber tail.

I shouldn't have voids in the resin as I will be using a special technique that eliminates all the air bubles and gives a perfect ratio of c/f cloth to resin 50-50. I also use high quality epoxy resin, not the junk some others use: polyester or vinyl ester resins. I'm going to do my best to retain the stock mounting locations in the body work i make. Most parts will be carbon fiber with a kevlar backing. Prices will smoke OPP's prices.

You should start with a carbon fiber 954 front fender as I am now in the market for one.

Re: OPP PARTS

I'm in the process of making a couple new seat cowls for the 900rr. If you want to buy a c/f fender just say the words.
