| Re: Cooling/Oil Problem with 929 It has been ridiculous. The bike didn't have any problems when I dropped it off and now it has a million problems. We fixed the cooling problem. Turns out that a wire was loose going to the fan. Also, the oil pressure light is now off.however, now the FI light is on. Additionally, for some unknown reason, when you start the bike the flapper valve actuator makes a noise and vibrates like it is attempting to open the flapper valve but cannot.finally, to top it all off, something sounds as if it is rattling within the clutch housing/engine. They took apart the clutch housing and assembly but everything was in order. I'm hoping that the rattling has something to do with the flapper. If that's the case I will do the flapper modification.
However, I think that this guy got dust, from the polishing he did, into the engine. I know for a fact that the clutch housing cover was off while he did the polishing. I hope he didn't ruin the engine.
Now he is stumped as to what might be causing the rattling noise or the mysterious problems with the oil pressure.
