So how long do theese things last?

In the case of a modern 4cyl bike,a CBR1000RR for example, how long should it last? What is the typical engine life, considering I keep up with all the regularly scheduled maintainance, and give it plenty of warm-up time prior to riding it.

Read my thread on milage and it'd give you an idea. I know they are different motors but all the same ...they are built to last.

A mate got nearly 200,000 km out of his 929. Only major work was a rotor and the clutch. He only used dinosaur oil in it.
