one of the guys i ride with has an 06 gixxer 600, and believe it or not, the dumbass's at suzuki, decided to mount the reg/rectifier on the front of the engine up near the head/ exhaust.Don't know if they thought this would cool it more while your riding ? But sitting in high temp traffic has got to put a beating on that electrical component.I believe the guy said he replaced it, or the stator already, and i think it just took another sh*t on him again .
