needle bearings and sleeve ???

ok I had my swing arm powder coated the powder coater pressed out the bearing on the bottom of the swing arm that goes to shock linkage.the bearing has a sleeve that goes with it.When I went to install the sleeve it wouldnt go in there without a fair amount of coaxing with a hammer.the sleeve slid in pretty easy when the bearing wasnt installed in the swing arm though.I guess my question is the sleeve suppose th fit in the the bearing tight or is should there be enough play to slid the sleeve by hand?

Re: needle bearings and sleeve ???

ok new problem...I took both swing arms to a mechanic.I had him press out the old needle bearing that i hammered in and press in the good bearing from my old swing arm.Now those bearing are tight also.I dont know what to do,someone suggested that I put the bearing in the freezer before pressing them in.Is it possible that being in the oven ****ed up the size of the hole on the swingarm?

Did the powdercoater block up the holes before coating it?
There shouldn't be any paint inside the hole.
