| Re: Benelli? YouTube - Benelli Simply Perfect
FWIW, I don't think they are the same company but haven't been able to verify that.

| Re: Benelli? Yes I believe they are the same company but I could be wrong. From what I know about the bikes and guns they are both top notch. I know the older bikes were high end but have learned as much about the new ones although they look well made. They don't seem as quality as the MVs though. The KTM RC8 is BAD AZZ! I am even thinking about selling the blade for one but they wont be out till too late in the year. |

| Re: Benelli? They are not the same comapny, just the same name.
I have a friend that is a dealer. They haven't sold one in months; their main sales are Suzuki. He took one out and after 200 miles of hard riding, doesn't sound the same and needed repairs. Benelli has also been promising the Tre for over a year now and they just keep saying soon. It will never arrive. Oh, when securing the bikes, some of them had actual bars like a dirt bike would have, they moved and also flex.
If you want more mait. than a Ducati, get a Benelli. If you want to ride, get a Honda. |

| Re: Benelli? Damn good to know. I know the guns are top of the line, I guess the bikes have gone down hill. I wonder if they are actually made by some chineese company and badged as theirs. The styling looks a lot like some of those new bargain sport bikes comming out.
Good info Ian thanx
anyone had any exp with the MVs? |

| Re: Benelli? They are Italian, so no Chinese badging there.
The MV's are different. They are made by Cagiva. In the 80's Cagiva bought Ducati. In the early 90's they bought the MV name and in the late 90's they sold Ducati. The one person responsible for what Ducati is known for left Ducati and went back to Cagiva. So if you liked the 916 which was designed by Tamburini, then you will like the MV as he is there. So the MV is the new Ducati. |

| Re: Benelli? What I meant was aybe they use bikes built by someon else like the chinese ones or at least componets and badge them as MV. If not I would say it is damn sad an Italian company responsible fror such great bikes build something so bad. |

| Re: Benelli? I knew of their revival and they were Italian owned and it seems that they were sold after that revival. I know they have had issues getting the product out, that is probably why they were sold/bought; they ran out of money.
