Oil question(i know but i gotta ask)

I think i know the answer from reading old posts but just to be clear, Should i run synthetic blend (yes with moly) in an 04 600rr motor?

Sorry if its a dumb question just want to be clear because i have gallons of the stuff to get rid of. Do me a favor and post clear answers and only post if youre sure either way.

thanks in advance.

No moly in wet clutch engines, yes I'm sure.

From my manual

Quote:
Do not use oil with graphite or molybdenum additives. They may adversely affect clutch operation.

Slickwill is the oil God. Listen to him. My only comment to add would be as long as it's a good quality motorcycle oil, semi or full syn. I hope this doesn't start the whole Rotella T bit again.

Re: Oil question(i know but i gotta ask)

90,000 miles on my bikes with cheap oil and haven't had to replace a clutch plate yet.

Did you know Honda recommends moly lube in their service manuals for engine assembly?
