Sneaky little bastards

Son of a booger i was doing my first ride inspection for the year getting it ready for the track friday and what do i recall all nestled up in my bikes airbox? A nice size freaking mouse nest all over the inside of it. Them damn sneaky little bastards. I was wondering if anyone knew of a way i can keep them freaking furry creatures outta my airbox next time i put it up for storage in my garage or is it in possible an im gonna have to do this every year after storage? THANKS

Re: Sneaky little bastards

There is a trick that I saw some folks use in their garages. They put down chickenwire or wiremesh in a frame underneath the bikes. It seems little animals don't like to walk over it and don't reach the bikes. The wire needs to be only a 1/4 inch above the floor for it to work.

Re: Sneaky little bastards

Line your air box with aluminum foil, then put a load of moth balls in there. The foil is to prevent possible damage to the plastic. End of problem.

P.S. get ready for the male moth jokes

Re: Sneaky little bastards

try wiring the bike to the mains that should stop the little buggers and put off any scum that try and pinch it as well
