| Re: PIG SPOTTED MIRRORS They are useless and a waste of money IMO. The stock ones are hard enough to see out of and you wanna put smaller ones that are right next to the fairing on it? Seriously, don't waste your money.
No to mention the fact they are hideous. |

| Re: PIG SPOTTED MIRRORS I ran CRG bar end mirrors on my 954. They aren't cheap but the quality is fantastic and you can see a heck of a lot better than the stock ones since your elbows aren't in the way. CRG - Constructors Racing Group |

| Re: PIG SPOTTED MIRRORS The pig spotters are pretty fugly....i considered them until i saw them in person. I kinda want bar ends, but they aren't your cup of tea, why not get the mini mirrors off of ebay, they look pretty stock but smaller with less of a stalk . |

| Re: PIG SPOTTED MIRRORS i found some pretty nice ones that have the turn signals intergrated on ebay. i'm sure they can mount to the 929 but may require some modding don't really know. let me know and i'll try to look up the seller. |

| Re: PIG SPOTTED MIRRORS i appreciate your help. i actually bought a tv/back up camera from walmart, and it actually looks really good. you cant even see the camera. it was just hard to mount by my speedo(since there was no room). now im going to order the mirror block off plates to get rid of the holes. |

You should just get a radio in your helmet and have a friend follow you around to be your spotter. |

| Re: PIG SPOTTED MIRRORS clown on me all you want. i thought the idea was stupid at first. but the stock mirrors are so damn bulky, and any good aftermarket set is at least 200 bucks. its kinda nice having it right by my speedo. im sure ill get pulled over though |

| Re: PIG SPOTTED MIRRORS Pretty much, I've seen a few setups and its all placement of the screen. Personally I think they look good if you have a black, or really dark smoke wind screen and you tuck it above the speedo. I've seen ones on the triple clamp that i'm not a fan of, but its probably easy mounting. and the worst ive seen is on a bracket attached to the gas cap, not only is it ugly and kills the line of the bike, its dangerous trying to tuck over it and then trying to look at the tank while riding......good luck with the install. |

| Re: PIG SPOTTED MIRRORS yea i know what you mean, i cut my windscreen about 3 inches to be even across my bike. so when i bought it, i didnt think it would work. its a 3.5 inch screen, and the black plastic shroud is very thin. usually they are really thick and bulky. but i set it in place of where i want it to go. i wouldn't install it unless it was hidden. |

And although I somewhat agree with CR5 it's not AS safe as mirrors, I think it's better than nothing. But I wouldn't go calling you a squid for having it. Just make sure you do your head checks before changing lanes. |

I think backup cameras on most cars are hilarious...... Unless you've got a box truck that's impossible to see out of..... Or if you have a neck problem and can't turn around....
You must admit that the concept of a backup camera on a bike is funny.
Seriously though, I would also like to see pics.... |

| Re: PIG SPOTTED MIRRORS lol i know, but all jokes aside, i couldnt find a set of mirrors that looked good on my bike. ive been outside all day trying to make it fit, but the stand it came with is too big, and if i cut it down, it wont hold. any opinions. |

| Re: PIG SPOTTED MIRRORS Zip ties, JB Weld and bubble gum!!!
But seriously, where are you trying to mount it, above the speedo below the chopped windscreen?? Could always try mounting it off to the side, close to the fuse panel covers. But it all depends on what kind of mount you're working with. |

How long until this fade of yours (owning a sportbike) goes out of style and your on to the next big thing. Quote:

On a more serious note, you should mount a forward facing camera so you can see what's ahead of you as well.
I apologize for having fun at your expense. I am done. |
