SWing arm question

I have just purchased a 2007 cbr1000 in all black...but the swing arm is silver...i have read in many threads that in 2007 the came out with a black swing arm...i just want to make sure that my bike is all good..its just that it also has only 700 miles but the bike has total worn tires and a several upgrade parts...does anyone know what to look for if your suspicious about your purchase...any info would be great about purchasing bikes from smaller dealers!

Re: SWing arm question

, and yes the 2007 CBR1000rr swingarms were black. Unless it was the Resol Edition. they had both the silver frames and silver swingarms. Check the vin and see what comes back on the bike. What did the seller tell you about the bike. With only 700 miles and totally worn tires, well , i would be lookin a bit deeper myself. Were they worn on the center, or the edges? got any pics of the bike?

Re: SWing arm question

I have an 2006 model and that was the last year they came out wit silver swingarms except for the Repesol edition like rokitt51 stated, so if i was you i would check the vin and see if they switch the swingarms out. Something sounds fishy though, good luck, hope everything turns out good.
