WAAAAAAAAAAAAA HHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

The day has finally come. I finally got my engine in my bike, and went for my first ( albeit short) ride of the season. The beast is back on the road. I went with the new sprocket setup (15/45). Huge difference in acceleration. Front end gets light very easily even under only partial throttle. Basically, I'm just happy to be riding. I have never gone this far into the season without riding. I thought I might die.

Congrats - remember to stay on two wheels and take it easy (might be a little rusty from not riding)

Re: WAAAAAAAAAAAAA HHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

GF got sick and made me stay and take care of her for a week so I couldn't ride. Thought I was going to DIE. No way I could last as long as you did, glad you can ride again.

Re: WAAAAAAAAAAAAA HHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

i went to the 45/15 as well. huge difference!! by the way, thanks for the diagnostic diagrams u gave me. i ended up being a faulty wire fron the stator to the regulator. i changed my id in here, i'm sure u can figure it out. btw, do u know if its pretty easy to change brake pads???

Re: WAAAAAAAAAAAAA HHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

if you change the gearing by using different sprockets you should look at getting a speedo healer. changing the gearing in this way can throw your mph reading out by as much as 15%.

you have to hook them into the harness between the speedo and the harness
