| Need Input: will 954RR triples fit 1kRR forks? Hi, any input is appreciated! I have an '03 600rr race bike and had just obtained some '05 1kRR Ohlins forks to install on it. I heard that 954RR triples will work but had also received indication that 929 parts are the same? I've been looking to buy some 1kRR triples for this application but have heard from a fellow on another forum who had already done this conversion that 954RR triples will allow one to retain use of a Scott's rotary damper whereas 1kRR upper tripple will not allow for such (I guess because the HESD?). I really need to get some tripples that will work in this application. If anyone can definitively confirm one way or the other that would be great. Thanks in advance! IG | |
