| Re: Whats hacked you off today? Retarded customers that ok me to complete work on their car and then call me back 4 HOURS later and tell me they have changed their mind and don't want it done.
Then say I'm a con artist and I ripped them off when I tell them the work is already completed or nearly finished so they still have to pay.
WTF!!!???!!!???

A friend of mine used to record phone conversations with certain customers for that kind of reason.
It might be an anal way to do things, but at times it might be worth calling over the supervisor or manager so the customer knows there's witness to their request and they can't mess your shop/garage around.
The world is not what it used to be.

The world is not what it used to be. | Agreed ..... I am the manager/supervisor!! Not gonna get scammed anyway .. I make all our clients sign the work order which states very clearly they are AUTHORIZING the work!!!

| Re: Whats hacked you off today? So as I am riding through some canyons when a local LEO pulls me over... I like LEOs and respect them to the fullest so I wasn't too concerned because all my papers and such are in order... He proceeds to ask me if he can search the storage compartment on my bike... I informed him that I had removed the stock tail for a Sharkskinz and there was nothing under there and no practical way to remove it.... He didn't really like that answer and threatened to have me towed if I didn't open it..... he calls it in (I assumed for a tow)... Then came back and cited me for my plate, lack of reflectors, and exhaust before saying he was too busy to wait for a tow... And said he was doing me a favor.... Most cops are pretty cool as long as you are.... but this guy was a complete jerk... |

I think some other bloke on a sports bike pi$$ed him off, and he was just trying to take it out on you.

I immediately jump up and put on my Daddy Cape.... Rush outside... and there is glass EVERYWHERE... My 2 year old Rott is walking in it... It's in the grass... under the BBQ pit... all over the patio.... even on the side of the house where they threw it....
So I begin the clean up... hoping to finish before prego mom wakes up from her nap... didn't make it... Was this really necessary girls??!?!? Geez.... I guess I am more concerned they could have been hurt but it makes me angry... So mom goes from 0 to CRAZY LATINA in 2.2 seconds.... now I am the honorary glass cleaner and referree.... FML... |

| Re: Whats hacked you off today? I had an old bastard throw a coke at me from a cage at an intersection for swerving in my lane. I wasn't speeding or riding recklessly, just trying to be sure the oncoming turning lefters saw me. Luckily we ran into a motorcycle cop before I got a chance to activate his dental plan. I'm usually not a violent person, but I figured that was Natural selection!!!! |

| Re: Whats hacked you off today? people you buy things from on the forum stated in a certain condition..when they arrive, they are not as described and there is a promise that if the parts can be used, then he will take them back.....
fast forward a couple weeks and the parts cant be used, so send pm and email that I tried to use the parts but it wont work right, so I need to return the parts. No reply that day or the next, so I send another pm just to give him a chance that he didnt see messages yet (but I know he logged into the forum several times since first pm). then I get a response that he thought I would tell him I didnt need them sooner so you are "sol".....
he lied about the parts, then said he would take them back if I couldnt make it work and then says tough s&!t.....
so how was your day?? |
