Well the 929 is for sale but if I do sell it I will be sure to periodicly tell a "what cool thing happened while I was riding the 929 this weeked" story here so I am still welcome

Just went to go for a spin for fuel and cant !! I've just used an epoxy resin to glue bracket mount back onto the sump cover, sooooo I have to let it set before it gets geated up......24hrs to be safe !!! DOH !!!!!!!!!!!

Words of advice -

Never bloody ever, bloody ever lend a bike out even if its a hire bike and even if it's to your own family.

Lent my hire scooter to my brother (I took the hire car home that night) and told him it was only for getting himself home and not to lend it to any friends (one in particular because he's had more accidents in 6 months than my brother and I have had in the 6 years combined living in Thailand.

So, he lends it to the worst rider you can imagine who promptly slides it down the road, coming off hard enough to twist the headset section of the frame. He's had to make three visits to the hospital already - his head and face look like a swollen beet root. Not wearing a helmet will do that to you.
Well, they're paying for it, not me. But it doesn't make me look good with the hirer, does it?

I now know how you on the otherside of the pond feel now. It's raining here and it's the first time since I had the bike fixed that I had to drive the cage in to work. I am missing the smell of my leather jacket hanging over the back of my desk chair!

How the F*&^ do you turn that multi quote OFF. I sent one multi quote then in a seperate quote it SENT IT AGAIN!!! Makes the quote senseless, because I've previous quotes which have nothing to do with what I'm SAYING !!!

We all do it. I stupidly thought he'd learnt, though. Twenty years ago I lent him my Fiat Uno turbo. He locked that up for around thirty feet before knocking over a road sign, sticking it up a 6 foot high bank and wedging between a sycamore tree and an oak tree... Oh, and knocking a 6 foot wide wrought iron fence into a farmers field.
