So i was at cycle gear today looking for new helmets BTW Scorpion EXO 1000 helmet..best helmet i've EVER seen,i didn't buy one but i'll explain later.
ANYWAY..this guy was in line buying a k&n air filter for his 07 CBR 1000,and after reading on the fourms on how it LOWERS HP by 3 or 4 HP (inless mapped) i decided to tell him the following..

"Is that for your 07 1000? oh well i'm in the fireblades.org fourm and i read up and down that it LOWERS HP by 3-4 HP inless you have a power commander..you should really look into that fourm,alot of good people on there will help you out with anything you need"

of course i didn't say all that in one breath..it was a good 5 min convo..but i saved him from spending un needed money and he was VERY much appreciative

I work at CycleGear in Sacramento. Dude, if he was looking to buy it to improve horsepower by just installing the filter, then yes, you totally did him a solid, and I gotta say, I would have told him the same thing.

AWESOME,i was wondering why it went up..the day of my endorsement test a few days ago i parked next to a 954,and i was wishing i had some Fireblades.org fliers or SOMETHING to stick on his bike but nothing
