Sons Of Anarchy + Ebay = a bad idea

OK guys, I just have to vent a bit here. I love the show and watch it religiously. But I'm going through Ebay and I see full on back patch sets for SOA. Riders who are involved in 3 patch clubs AKA "outlaw" clubs (not 1% HUGE difference.....although most 1%'s are also "outlaw" clubs) find people wearing outlaw patches (fake club or, God Forbid real) that didn't earn them VERY disrespectful. So much so that if some unsuspecting SOA fan walking around wearing a SOA patched vest comes accross a real MC member they're probably going to get a very stern talking to, at the very least, depending on what MC they belong to. The guys selling them are pretty much putting a huge $200 kick me sign on the backs of couch potato's that want to look like those tough bikers on TV.....yes real MC members do take it that seriously.

Ok done venting. Thanks boys and girls.

This reminds me of a scene in the movie Torque.

That's just wrong. If somebody around here in 81 country wore a Hell's Angel's patch that they didn't earn, it would probly get beat off of them. I'm not a member just a friend of all, but out of respect I wouldn't were a patch that wasn't given or earned.

I wonder exactly what you would have to endure the "earn" one of those badges, does anyone know the real story?

Re: Sons Of Anarchy + Ebay = a bad idea

its pretty ugly seen in real life. my father after veitnam ran with the pagans for a lil'bit in the 70s still has videos on 8mm somewhere. ive seen a few poker runs on video. he wasnt down for wife swapping ended up nearly killing one of them for tryin to get at my mom, this guy roofied her drink with "lsd" at a party. pops was a navy seal so they let him get out easy.

the strongest biker gang in the states is not outlaw its the vets my uncle rides with the veterans. outlaw gangs are fading thank god. i had a run in with the breed at a bar in jersey when i was working as a dj/bouncer. these days they're just big-mouth posers that need 30 of there friends to make sure they dont catch a beating for being stupid

Re: Sons Of Anarchy + Ebay = a bad idea

Wow, who would be stupid enough to mess with a seal's wife? My father's friend was a seal and was riding in the back of a car when someone tried to carjack them with a butterfly knife. Needless to say, the seal promptly removed the attacker's weapon and used it to cut him into little pieces...

I once watched a movie with navy seals in it....however I had a sneaking suspicion that they were only actors...

Re: Sons Of Anarchy + Ebay = a bad idea

its pretty scary to see what they are capable of. i personally have seen him "pops" break a guys arm in 3 places with a wrist lock. this was at the bar i worked in. he busted his shoulder, elbow, and wrist in one quick motion.

i met a couple other seals that my dad made friends with skydiving. not much scares them, i remember they did a demo at a county fair with 20 jumpers on the 4th of july. one of these crazies tied a huge flag to one of his lines and packed it in the shute not knowing if it would work or not. it worked but why take a chance like that... did look good when he swooped in
