| The ultimate answer to the dreaded oil thread It doesn't matter what bike/vehicle you are talking about, the answer is always the same; there is no one correct answer. The question though, is always the same; "what is the best oil for [insert vehicle here]."
If you ask ten people, you will get up to ten different answers. The best recommendation is this, take your favorite brand of oil and use what the manufacturer recommends in terms of ratings and go from there.
Generally you want to stay away from EC oils as they have moly (molybdenum) and that is bad for a wet clutch.
It is your bike and you can use what you want, just don't complain about it down the road. |
